Lake Erie Walleye

Our Walleye fishing season begins in April and runs through October. Lake Erie walleye are commonly in the 3-6 pound class and trophy size walleye can reach up to 10 pounds plus. The best fishing times for those Fish Ohio Walleye (over 28”) is in early spring or fall. We start the season in April, operating around Lake Erie's natural reefs out of Wild Wings Marina in Oak Harbor and move to Huron, Ohio in mid-September. We follow the huge numbers of walleye that come to spawn and will move with the schools as the season progresses. Dr. Bugs Charters will always go the extra mile to ensure a successful fishing trip.

All Charters include:
rods and reels, bait, ice, lures and all other tackle.

A deposit is required of $100.00 per day. If you must cancel your trip with Dr Bugs Charters a 3 week notice is required. Deposit refunds are at the discretion of Dr Bugs Charters. Captain Dave will inform the you the night before if the charter is cancelled due to weather. You will then have the option of choosing a new date, or having your deposit refunded. All charters are private and are available on any day.
